Is there anything better than enjoying the first days of summer between amazing classic cars and friendly Gentlemen ready to share their passion for cars in all the different languages of the world? We believe not: here’s our selection of the unmissable events in June as well as our Style tips for a Gentleman outfit suitable for the warmer time of the year.

Gran Premio Parco Valentino • 11 June • Turin, IT

The Gran Premio Parco Valentino is a young but absolutely charming event. On June 11th the second edition will bring precious classic cars on the elegant streets of the Savoy city and in the shade of the Venaria Reale, the arrival point of a car parade with a vintage taste.

Classic cars and limited editions belonging to the biggest collectors in the world will gather in piazza Vittorio Veneto, the largest arcaded square in Europe, where they could be admired in all their beauty until 3 pm, when they will start their engines and return on the street to give life to a unique show of its kind: a 45-km long parade of classic and sports cars heading toward the final destination in Reggia di Venaria gardens. The route will include a panoramic stop at the attractive and famous Basilica di Superga and then it will continue on the beautiful hairpin turns of Turin hills up to take via Mensa, with its privileged point of view on the superb beauty of the Savoy residence.

Goodwood Festival of Speed • 23-26 June • Goodwood, UK

Goodwood House hosts the Festival of Speed, one of the most magnificent international motor events that for four days – from 24th to the 26th of June – will bring together rare and breath-taking cars from all over the world and prestigious personalities of motorsport on the beautiful English grass of Lord March’s estate for a wonderful and electrifying summer event.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the events that mostly influenced the spread of culture and passion for cars at international level, a true celebration of perfection and automotive power between glamour and performance, as demonstrated by the slogan chosen for the 2016 edition: “Full Throttle - The Endless Pursuit of Power”.

The event was held for the first time back in 1993 in obedience to Charles Gordon-Lennox’s will, Earl of March and Kinkara as well as Duke of Richmond, even if the roots of his success lie in history and more specifically in the summer of 1936, when the 9th Duke of Richmond, Freddie March, decided to host a private hillclimb for the Lancia Car Club in the grounds of Goodwood House.

Today the Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the most interesting events for motor and racing enthusiasts also for its famous guests, including well-known collectors and world champions such as Louis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Valentino Rossi, Damon Hill, Alain Prost, Niki Lauda Jacques Villeneuve and many more.

With the arrival of the sun and warm temperatures the rule is: “do more with less”.
