There is an electrifying energy in the air, a mix of passion, history and timeless elegance of the highest quality that is about to come to life in Italy's Motor Valley: from October 13 to 15, the prestigious Palazzo di Varignana - the historic resort nestled in the hills of Bologna - will become the grand stage for the first edition of the Concorso d'Eleganza Varignana 1705, an extraordinary selection of twenty-three vintage cars built before 1973 and of exceptional provenance, each with its own story to tell and a design that has remained iconic over time.
Of course, at the exclusive debut we will also be there, excited to celebrate with as many style and motoring enthusiasts the art of good Italian living and the indomitable spirit of old-time motoring.

After the success of the "zero event" of the Classic Car Show last July, the upcoming event promises another memorable ride, with models of the highest collector value, meticulously selected by car experts from all over the world, and prominent collectors, such as Corrado Lopresto, Silvia Nicolis and Japan's Hidetomo Kimura, accompanied by their rarest jewels.
We only need a quick glance at the six categories to realize that we will hardly forget this driving passion parade: "Eleganza Anteguerra" will transport us back in time, among the curves of the 1937 Jaguar SS 100 and the iconic 1938 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Berlinetta Touring; in the category "Gran Classe Sportiva" we will see the power of Bizzarrini, Ferrari and Lamborghini compete, while for "Gioielli Italiani" a Fiat 110 E Cabriolet "Visotal" Castagna, a 1951 Fiat 750 GT MM Zagato and the 1952 Ermini 1100 Sport Internazionale will shine.

And again, for the "Heroic Racing" category, vintage racing protagonists such as the 1927/35 Bugatti 37/44 Grand Prix and the 1939/46 HRG Le Mans will be on stage, while for "Grinta & Stile" we will find, among many others, a 1955 Fiat 8V Zagato, a 1955 Aurelia B24 Spider and a refined 1964 Alfa Romeo TZ; finally, for "Icone dalla Germania" we will be amazed by cars that marked an era such as the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing of 1956 and the Mercedes 300 SL Roadster of 1957, up to the BMW 3. 0 CSL of 1972.
