After a race of titans, all played out on technique and strategy, Ferrari returned for the second year in a row to the top step of the podium of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the most legendary and toughest of endurance races: what better time to tell you about the designs of the new collection we created to celebrate the myth of this race?
In the beating heart of motorsports, where passion for speed merges with history, comes The Outlierman x 24 Hours of Le Mans, the third style chapter of a four-year partnership, created to celebrate 100 years of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans through a limited-edition collection of leather driving gloves and pure silk scarves, pocket squares and ties inspired by the drivers, cars and feats that marked a century of sporting glory.
With this collection, The Outlierman and the 24 Hours of Le Mans wanted to pay tribute to the Centenary of a race that has and will continue to define the world of motor racing. Each exclusive creation has a one-of-a-kind design, conceived by our designers in Bologna and made reality by the best master craftsmen in Naples and Como, combining past, present and future in a timeless style that defies time, the true adversary to beat at Le Mans.
The “GLORY” silk scarf and pocket square celebrate the cars and drivers who triumphed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, through a tribute to the winning team of the Centenary edition. An adrenaline-pumping design with a beautiful pictorial stroke, it winks at the experts of the Circuit de la Sarthe with many references to its most iconic elements, from the stands to the Dunlop bridge, from the Ferris wheel and maritime pines to the ever-present checkered flag.

The “START” neckties, in the colors of some of the great protagonists of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, recall an emblematic moment from the golden era of historic racing, namely the “Le Mans-style” start. On the background, the black and white checkered design becomes an elegant pattern, while the official logo of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and two illustrated checkered flags stand out on the tail.
The “LAP” necktie is the image of triumph, a symbol of every lap completed, every challenge overcome. The traditional gesture of the race marshal waving the checkered flag in front of a DBR1 during the last lap of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is the key image of a tie with an exciting and dynamic deisgn, communicating movement.

Inspired by the colors of the queen of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Centenary edition, the “MULSANNE” driving gloves translate the adrenaline rush of the 24 Hours of Le Mans into distinctive style. A long linear trail of small hand-sewn stitches, which stand out in contrast to the soft lambskin leather, is the style detail that The Outlierman designers chose to evoke the most famous straight of the most famous endurance race.
“VICTORY” is a limited-edition driving glove model that celebrates the great feats and victories that studded the first 100 years of the 24 Hours of Le Mans through prestigious raw materials and craftsmanship. The characteristic woven design obtained on the precious peccary leather comes from a long and careful work entirely handmade according to a traditional technique, now known only to a few master glove makers in Naples. A creation in which every single detail speaks of a French automotive myth and 100% Made in Italy quality.
Lastly, the fingerless driving glove model that we designed is called “TERTRE ROUGE”, drawing inspiration from the highest point of the Circuit de la Sarthe track but also from the impeccable style of the drivers of yesteryear: the elegant crochet cotton back, the soft suede palm and the leather tab with the official logo of the competition tell a century of epic feats to fans of the 24 Hours of Le Mans of all times and places.
