Imagine around 500 Porsches of every color and model displayed on the Parking du Port in Saint-Tropez on a beautiful autumn day. This is the mental image that summarizes the Paradis Porsche which took place last weekend, from October 8 to 10, on the French Riviera.
Now in its 28th edition, the Saint-Tropez Porsche Paradis has become a classic of European Porsche gatherings. We reached the meeting point from Monaco, traveling along the French Riviera in a small team of Porsche drivers consisting of a 911 GT2 RS Silver, a Porsche Carrera GT Silver and a 911 GT2 RS Red.

Specifying the colors of the bodywork is not superfluous when describing this gathering inaugurated in October 1993 by a handful of members of the “911 Méditerranée” Club. The idea is to create a colorful “Paradis” of German cars: in white, blue, passion red, yellow, green and so on.
The theme chosen for the 2021 edition was “The Targas”, as a tribute to the famous model released in 1956 and entitled to the Targa Florio: the Sicilian “Cursa” is in fact linked to the Porsche name for the extraordinary number of victories collected since the mid 50’s. Another main theme of the gathering was the 25th anniversary of the Boxter model, which was presented in 1993, launched in Europe in 1996 and still among dream cars today.

The event reached its climax on Sunday, October 10 with the parade through the center and the port of St. Tropez. Among the many sun-kissed Targas we could also admire the 992 Targa 4S Heritage Edition which combines a “Dolce Vita” style with advanced technological solutions. Only 922 specimens made: seeing it in this extraordinary setting was a rare privilege!
