Concours of Elegance Hampton Court Palace • September 2-4 • East Molesey, UK
In the romantic setting of Hampton Court Palace, the Concours d’Elegance is once again shining a spotlight on its regal roots this year: for the event’s 10th anniversary and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, 70 rare prestige cars will be guests at one of the world’s most sought-after events, witnessing the perfect craftsmanship and innovation over the centuries of the automotive world’s “crown jewels”. Spotlight on the 1968 Ford GT40 MK3, the 1994 Bugatti EB110, the only RHD model on display among the Future Classics, and the “Blue Train” Bentley Speed Six Coupé, winner in 2013.
Gran Premio Nuvolari • September 15-18 • Mantova, IT
A combination of passion, all-Italian itinerant tourism and sporting competition for 32 years: the Nuvolari GP, an international regularity event for historic cars, celebrates the 130th anniversary of the birth of Tazio Nuvolari, the legendary driver from Mantua to whom the event is dedicated. 300 crews from all over the world will drive on the most evocative roads of Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Marche and Veneto for 1,100 km, with two new features: the “Premio Mantova 2022 - Nuvolari 130 years”, a 7.5-km city night prologue in the heart of Mantua’s historic center, and a new route from Rimini toward Florence up to the Sienese hills of Borgo Scopeto.
Goodwood Revival • September 16-18 • Goodwood, UK
Hundreds of classic cars will compete in 15 races inside a setting that recreates the golden age of motor sports and elegance: Goodwood Revival is the world’s only vintage dress-code race to relive the fascinating atmosphere of Goodwood circuit between 1948 and 1966. The 2022 edition will celebrate 75 years of Ferrari, Graham Hill’s first F1 championship and 100 years of the Austin Seven. But that’s not all: those most fond of the spiritual home of British motoring will see the return of the “Freddie March Memorial Trophy” as the first race of the weekend, in which priceless Jaguar C-Types, Aston Martin’s DB3S and the quirky Allard J2X will not be missing!
