A beautiful sunny Sunday, almost forty classic cars, a facility of excellence nestled in the hills of Bologna: last July 16 we were there at Palazzo di Varignana's debut in the automotive world with the first edition of the Varignana 107 Classic Car Show.
An unprecedented gathering of classic cars that has already projected us into the full-engine atmosphere of the highlight event of the year: the first Concorso d'Eleganza in the heart of the Motor Valley, coming in October.

Awaiting us was a day of driving passion with an aftertaste of yesteryear, among prestigious guests from the world of finance and sports - such as Olympic Champion Alberto Tomba - and masterpieces of mechanical engineering that have left their mark: the Maserati A6GCS by Golfieri, awarded for the Sport and Corsa class, the Alfa Romeo GTA 1. 3 by Pozzi, for the Gran Turismo Classiche, Bighi's 1986 Lamborghini Countach, for the post-modern GTs, Possati's Mercedes Benz 300 SL Roadster for the prize in the class reserved for "Timeless Beauties," and Landi's elegant and sinuous Maserati Tipo 26 for the Best in Show Award. Each, heir to a history that has its roots along the Via Emilia, in a land where automotive excellence has always run.

Amidst the green and luxurious spaces, scenic views and exclusive comforts of Palazzo di Varignana, we savored all the power of good Italian living and passion for motors, steeped in the DNA of our country, sharing it with an excited, involved petrolhead community, looking forward to being part of such a motoring event again, in a context of high exclusivity and beauty.

The good news is that it's not much longer: on the weekend of October 13-15, 2023, the Concorso d'Eleganza Varignana 1705, the first event of its kind in Italy's "land of motors," will come to life. Another opportunity to experience a day among roaring beauties and enthusiasts, combined with the Resort's refined and sustainable hospitality and cuisine. In the meantime, we just have to retrace the highlights of the event by browsing through the galleries and following the contest's social channels - Instagram and Facebook - preparing ourselves for another unprecedented and unforgettable ride!
