Arizona Concours d’Elegance • 15 January • Phoenix, US
The Arizona Concours d'Elegance is the event that opens Arizona’s famous collector-car week each year. Masterpieces on four wheels from different countries and eras will be brought together on the lawn of the prestigious and historic Arizona Biltmore Resort to be judged in the following categories: antique, classic, sports, racing and exotic.
To increase the prestige of the 2017 edition there will be also some exceptional stars on 4 wheels: the cars of Ettore and Jean Bugatti, Lincolns of the Classic Era and Coachwork by Vignale.
Winter Marathon • 19-22 January • Madonna di Campiglio, IT
From Madonna di Campiglio to Canazei and back: 445 km for 12 hours of consecutive driving on the scenic roads of Trentino Alto Adige and the most fascinating dolomitic passes. The perfect recipe for the Winter Marathon. This competition is composed of cars built before 1968 and a narrow selection of particularly historical and collectible cars built before 1976.
After the departure from Savoia Palace Hotel and a spectacular route that this year will touch the unusual Duron and Fedaia passes, the event will have an equally dramatic conclusion with the assignment of the Trofeo Mafra and Trofeo Eberhard on the picturesque and iced Lake of Campiglio.
Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique • 25 January - 1 February • Monaco, MC
A must see event for all the classic car lovers out there is the twentieth Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, which promises to be even more interesting for the choice of organizers – the Automobile Club de Monaco – that dedicate this edition to the French rock icons Johnny Hallyday and Henri Chemin, who took part in the race back in 1969 on board a Ford Mustang.
Almost half a century later, the Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique continues to evoke the golden age of racing inviting all the cars that took part in the Monte-Carlo Rally between 1955 and 1980.
Dear Gentlemen, pack your bags and start your engines: 2017 has only just begun and it’s already packed full with excitement!
