The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL roadster was in medium-high production from 1955 to 1963. The 190 SL was conceived and designed to offer a wider audience the sporty characteristics of the 300 SL.
One of the imperatives was to save on production cost and therefore to make use of available resources.
The 190 SL was a car that took up the design and sporty character of the 300 SL, and was able to win the hearts of many customers.
